Camino de Santiago philatelic pieces released for Xacobeo 2027

Two new philatelic pieces have been released to commemorate the history of the Camino de Santiago and serve as a prelude to the Xacobeo 2027 Holy Year. The release coincides with the “50 stages of a Philatelic Camino” exhibition held in Ourense.

The collection includes a commemorative postal stationery card featuring the historic Ourense Post Office building, which has hosted the Sociedad Filatélica, Numismática y Vitofílica Miño exhibitions since 2020. The second piece is a specially designed postage stamp depicting a pilgrim's profile containing the Galician flag, symbolizing the connection between the pilgrims, the region of Galicia, and the upcoming 2027 pilgrimage year.
