Camino dla opornych film to be released in Polish cinemas

The French comedy-drama “Camino dla opornych,” directed by Yann Samuell, is set for release in over 100 Polish cinemas starting October 30. The film follows the journey of Fréd, a teacher facing a life crisis, and Adam, a 17-year-old with behavioral issues and legal troubles, as they walk over one thousand kilometers to Santiago de Compostela.

The story is inspired by the work of Bernard Ollivier, founder of the Seuil association, which uses long-distance walking expeditions to help youth in difficult situations. The film explores themes of patience, trust, and personal transformation through a relationship that develops despite significant differences between the two protagonists.

In France, the film has already reached 1.2 million viewers. In Poland, pre-premiere screenings attracted nearly 8,000 people. Various public figures, including Martyna Wojciechowska and Marek Kamiński, have endorsed the film for its realistic portrayal of human connection and daily struggles.
