Camp de Tarragona station to receive new road access

The Diputació de Tarragona has launched a tender for technical assistance to draft fourteen road construction projects within the demarcation. A primary focus is the creation of a new 1.5-kilometer access road for the Camp de Tarragona AVE station, connecting it to the TP-2031 highway. This project, estimated to cost 4 million euros, will be funded equally by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Diputació de Tarragona.

Other planned works include a new bypass for Benissanet on the T-324 road to divert traffic from the town center, the construction of three new roundabouts to improve traffic flow, and various safety and drainage improvements. The tender also covers projects for pedestrian and cyclist itineraries and the rehabilitation of the El Lloar bridge.
