Camp Snap announces 110D retro-style screen-free digital camera
Camp Snap has announced the 110D, a new digital camera featuring a horizontally-oriented, retro design inspired by classic 110 film cameras like the Minox. The device maintains the brand’s signature screen-free philosophy, intended to encourage a more present photography experience without the distractions of a digital display.
The 110D utilizes an 8-megapixel Sony IMX179 sensor and a 4.2mm f/2.0 lens. It comes with a pre-installed 4GB microSD card capable of storing approximately 2,000 photos. The camera includes five built-in filters: Standard, Vintage 1, Vintage 2, Analog, and Black & White.
Key technical improvements include a redesigned shutter button for faster response times and ‘Quick Draw’ battery-saving technology that allows the camera to wake instantly upon pressing the shutter. The device also features a lockable memory and settings door with a new pull-tab latch design to prevent unauthorized access to settings or the memory card.
