Café con Ciencia returns to Bariloche and Viedma with science talks

The science popularization cycle ‘Café con Ciencia’ is returning to the Argentine cities of Bariloche and Viedma with a series of community-focused talks. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic research and the general public through accessible discussions in informal settings like libraries and bookstores.

The upcoming schedule includes sessions on regional fauna and protected natural areas in Río Negro, led by environmental ranger Andrés Ulloa. Other topics include astrophysics and the mysteries of neutrinos, presented by Dr. Juan Facundo Albacete, as well as a cultural exploration of the mythological past and modern reinterpretations of ‘The Odyssey’ in Bariloche.

These meetings are designed to be participatory and free of unnecessary technical jargon, allowing residents to engage directly with scientific and cultural knowledge.
