Campanedda prepares for Santa Maria a Torres patronal festival

The hamlet of Campanedda, near Sassari, is preparing for its annual patronal festival in honor of Santa Maria a Torres. The event is organized by the Festivities Committee with support from the Municipality of Sassari, the Parish of S. Maria a Torres, and the Archdiocese of Sassari.

Activities begin on the weekend of August 29 and 30 with a provincial hunting course competition at the Campo di Tiro al Volo. From September 4 to 6, the celebrations will move to Piazza G. M. Ruiu, featuring musical performances including a 'MILLENNIUM 90’S' dance event and sets by DJ Valerio Laconi. The festival is noted for combining religious devotion with free public entertainment.
