Campania agricultural leaders meet to discuss regional development
Representatives from the ANPCI Campania regional board met with Maria Carmela Serluca, the regional minister for agriculture, to discuss the future of small municipalities and agricultural policy. The delegation, led by regional president Zaccaria Spina and national vice president Arturo Manera, presented a programmatic platform focused on four key areas: involving smaller municipalities in regional decision-making, simplifying administrative procedures, creating a specific regional law for towns with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, and decentralizing competencies to accelerate authorizations.
In a separate development within the region, Veronica Barbati has been appointed president of the Consorzio di Tutela Olio Campania IGP. Barbati, who also serves as the provincial president of Coldiretti Avellino, will lead the consortium in its mission to promote Campania-produced olive oil and safeguard the IGP designation through vigilance and collaboration with food quality inspection authorities.
