Italian municipalities address infrastructure and financial management

Various Italian municipalities and regional bodies are managing infrastructure and financial challenges. In Campania, the Ente Idrico Campano has approved over 145 million euros for integrated water services to reduce leaks, digitize networks, and strengthen resilience against climate change. This includes sewer projects in Agerola, Pesco Sannita, and Presenzano.

In Arzano, the Corte dei conti is monitoring the municipality's ten-year financial recovery plan. The town faces a passive mass of nearly 14 million euros, including over 4 million euros in off-balance sheet debts and significant litigation risk funds, as it attempts to avoid financial insolvency.

Other local administrative actions include a 65,000 euro investment by Roseto degli Abruzzi for maintaining unpaved roads, and a 39,000 euro safety check initiated by Con. Ami for the Osservanza complex following roof and tree damage. In Trani, local councilors are questioning the administration over persistent flooding in the Pozzo Piano area due to a lack of storm drainage systems.
