Merano WineFestival 2026 celebrates 35th anniversary

The 35th edition of the Merano WineFestival is scheduled to take place from November 6 to 10, 2026, at the Kurhaus in Merano. The event, themed “Elegance and Beauty,” features over 700 exhibitors showcasing wine and gastronomy.

Key highlights include a masterclass on the evolution of Campanian white wines, organized by the Campania Gourmet project, which celebrates 21 years of participation. This initiative involves 40 companies and three regional wine consortia from Sannio, Caserta, and Salerno to promote regional identity and facilitate B2B connections.

The festival program includes a ceremonial saber opening of 35 bottles on the Ponte Lenoir, live cooking shows titled “Sfumature di Gusto,” and specialized areas for organic, biodynamic, and no/low alcohol wines. The event aims to connect producers with international buyers, journalists, and enthusiasts.
