Campania Democratic Party calls for Nobel Peace Prize for Gaza children

Maurizio Petracca, the Democratic Party group leader in the Campania Regional Council, has announced a motion calling for the Campania Region to formally support an appeal to award the Nobel Peace Prize to the children of Gaza.

The proposal, originally introduced by the cultural association ‘L’Isola che non c’è’ and promoted by Professor Eugenio Mazzarella of the University of Naples Federico II, aims to highlight the plight of children caught in conflicts. Petracca stated that the initiative seeks to protect childhood regardless of borders and to draw attention to the devastating consequences of war on the most vulnerable, including loss of life, housing, and education.

The motion urges the regional president and the administration to join the appeal and to promote it to the national government and Parliament.
