Campania region initiates technical forum with businesses and accountants to shape economic aid
A technical forum was held in Campania, Italy, bringing together the regional government, the Naples branch of the Union of Industries, and the Naples Order of Chartered Accountants. Participants included Regional Assessor for Productive Activities and Economic Development Fulvio Bonavitacola, Mario Mustilli, president of Sviluppo Campania, Matteo De Lise, president of Odcec Napoli (with delegates Marilena Nasti and Liliana Speranza), Vittorio Genna, president of the Union of Industries Napoli, and Paola Russo, director of cohesion and industrial policy.
The forum aimed to improve the design and administration of upcoming regional aid programmes for small and medium‑sized enterprises, focusing on strategic sectors, innovation, internationalisation, and human‑resource issues. Accountants presented proposals to raise the technical quality of future calls, speed up evaluation and ensure correct documentation, while industry stressed the need for predictable timelines.
The Campania region welcomed the inputs and asked Odcec Napoli to prepare a technical document with observations to inform the next round of funding calls, marking the start of an ongoing collaborative process.
