Campania schools to hire 66 permanent ATA staff members

The Regional School Office for Campania has approved a decree to hire 66 permanent ATA (administrative, technical, and auxiliary) staff members for the 2026/2027 school year. The new positions include 51 school collaborators, 11 administrative assistants, and 4 technical assistants.

The province of Caserta will receive 17 of these positions, including 14 school collaborators, two administrative assistants, and one technical assistant. Specific institutions in Caserta designated for these roles include Isiss ‘Mattei-Ferraris’, Isiss ‘Terra di Lavoro’, Isiss ‘Giordani’, Liceo Artistico di San Leucio, Liceo Scientifico ‘Diaz’, and the Istituto Comprensivo ‘Giannone-De Amicis’.

Legal appointments are set to begin on September 1, 2026, while economic effects will commence upon the actual start of service. While this decree provides stability for several institutions, UIL Scuola Campania notes that only 353 permanent ATA positions have been authorized for the region out of 982 available vacancies, leaving 629 positions unfilled.
