Campania shopping center to host “Pizza in Piazza” food contest

The “Pizza in Piazza” food contest will take place on September 30 at the Campania shopping center in Marcianise. From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, five pizzerias—Lanza, Fratelli La Bufala, Don Peppe, Fresco, and Pop by Sorbillo—will compete to be named the public's favorite.

Rather than an expert jury, the winner will be determined by attendees through a “Pizza Election” process. Participants can taste pizzas from the competing establishments and cast their votes via the IO&CAMPANIA app. Real-time voting results will be displayed on a LED wall throughout the event. The competition will conclude at 8:30 PM with the announcement of the winner. The event also features a “Spin The Slice” game where participants can win prizes in collaboration with Piazza Italia.
