Campania boosts local commerce and cultural sector with multi‑million euro grants

The mayor of Gragnano handed out three grants of €10,000 each, totalling €30,000, to new businesses as part of a municipal programme aimed at revitalising the town’s commercial fabric.

The Campania regional government approved €225,000 for the Alto Sannio District of Commerce to implement a plan that includes a community expo, a territorial cash‑back system and a digital hub, targeting the revival of shops in small inland towns.

Naples’ city council confirmed €170,000 for existing Urban Commerce Districts and launched a public call for proposals to create additional districts, seeking to strengthen local retail competitiveness and urban regeneration.

The Ministry of Culture opened the "Support to the Italian Musical System 2026" scheme, allocating €1.5 million in subsidies for pop, rock and contemporary music producers and promoters, with grants of up to €5,000 per event.

Finally, the Campania regional cabinet earmarked €23 million for cinema and live‑performance initiatives for 2026‑2028, split between a €17 million live‑show programme and funds for film production, distribution and new municipal cinemas.
