Campania weather alert extended for several regions

The Campania Regional Civil Protection agency has extended the yellow weather alert until 2:00 PM on November 3. The alert remains in effect for specific areas, including the Sorrento-Amalfi Peninsula, Monti di Sarno, Monti Picentini, Alta Irpinia, Sannio, Tusciano, Alto Sele, and Tanagro.

While weather conditions are expected to improve in several zones, including Naples and the Sele Plain, the extended alert highlights risks of localized hydrogeological phenomena. These include potential flooding, overflowing rivers, water runoff on roads, rockfalls, and landslides, particularly in areas where soil is saturated or weakened by previous fires.
