Campania Wine & Olive Oil Academy established in Italy

The Campania Wine & Olive Oil Academy SCARL has been officially established in Benevento to strengthen the professional skills and innovation within the wine and olive oil sectors of the Campania region. The consortium brings together 36 members and 20 qualifying entities, including universities, training institutions, and industry associations.

Supported by an investment of over 1.4 million euros through the 'Campania Academy Industria' program (PR Campania FSE+ 2021-2027), the academy will implement a three-year program. The initiative focuses on three main pillars: professional retraining for current workers in areas such as sustainability and digitalization, employment paths for the unemployed with a target placement rate of at least 50%, and industry innovation through professional analysis and specialized laboratories.

Training activities will be managed by the accredited entities FO. SVI. TER. of Benevento and AS. FOR. IN. of Avellino. Practical training will take place directly in vineyards, olive groves, wineries, and oil mills to combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in agricultural processing.
