Campeche judge uses official facilities for mother's birthday party

Juan Pedro Alcudia Vázquez, president of the Superior Court of Justice of Campeche, used official government facilities to host a birthday celebration for his mother, Yamile Vázquez Quevedo.

The event took place in an auditorium at the Casa de Justicia in Campeche and included music and cake. Alcudia Vázquez shared videos and messages of appreciation for his mother on social media, noting her role as President of the Judicial Power Patronage.

Alcudia Vázquez has held his position since September 2025 following a proposal by Governor Layda Sansores. His appointment has previously been a subject of political debate due to his former role as head of the state government's legal counsel.
