Campexx B.V. bankruptcy leaves hundreds of customers facing lost deposits

Campexx B.V., a company based in Winschoten that specialized in automatic leveling systems for campers, was officially declared bankrupt on August 18. The company operated branches in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.

Reports indicate that hundreds of customers may have lost deposits ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 euros. While the company's management previously claimed to be working on a financial rescue plan to assist those who had paid advances, communication reportedly ceased entirely in recent weeks, leaving customers with unanswered emails and canceled appointments.

A Facebook group has been established by affected owners to share experiences and coordinate potential legal actions. Some customers have alleged that the company continued to accept new orders and deposits despite being aware of its financial difficulties since September. Additionally, some clients who did receive products have reported malfunctions. The bankruptcy trustee has noted that the company's assets appear to be depleted, making the recovery of lost funds highly unlikely.
