Campina Grande announces 51st Winter Festival programming

The 51st edition of the Festival de Inverno de Campina Grande (FICG) has officially announced its programming. Scheduled to take place from August 20 to 30, the event will center on the theme ‘Território das Artes’ and features a diverse array of music, dance, theater, and cinema.

Musical highlights include national performers Diogo Nogueira and Kell Smith, alongside regional artists such as Gitana Pimentel and Alex Brasil. The festival's dance showcase will feature productions from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Rio Grande do Sul, while the theater program includes works by the Núcleo Teatral and actor Othon Bastos.

The festival will also celebrate traditional Northeastern culture through various folk dance groups and honor filmmaker Tizuka Yamasaki during its cinema showcase. State Secretary Rosália Lucas noted that the current administration is providing significant financial support to the event, emphasizing its role in driving local tourism and the creative economy in Paraíba.
