Campina Grande history explored in new book by Marcos Marinho

Journalist Marcos Marinho has completed his first book, which explores the historical and economic evolution of Campina Grande, Brazil. The work is scheduled for release in the first week of October, coinciding with the anniversary of the city's foundation.

The book traces the city's transformation from a mere resting point for colonial muleteers and caravans into a significant hub of intelligence and productivity in Northeast Brazil. Marinho describes how the local topography, specifically the Borborema plateau, acted as a strategic geographic inflection point that facilitated logistics and trade between the coast and the interior.
