Campinas Central do Rock Festival marks 17 years with free concerts

The Central do Rock Festival was held on 12 July 2026 at the Concha Acústica of Parque Portugal in Campinas, Brazil, celebrating nearly two decades of support for independent music. The free event, organized by Central do Rock with media partners ZrockWebradio and Kiss FM and backed by the city's Secretariat of Culture and Tourism, featured a line‑up that included legendary Brazilian punk band Cólera, pop‑rock act Olívia, metal‑oriented Kamala, experimental emo/post‑hardcore group Porcelana, and punk veterans Granma 82.

In addition to performances, the festival hosted an exhibitor fair, food stalls and alternative‑culture activities. Attendees were encouraged to donate one litre of milk to the NGO Isabel de Aragão, with all contributions directed to local community assistance projects.
