Campinas vehicle registrations increase in September
Vehicle registrations in Campinas saw a significant increase in September, with 3,392 new zero-kilometer vehicles registered. This represents an average of 113 new registrations per day, up from the 101 daily average recorded in August.
According to Fenabrave, the data includes automobiles, light commercials, trucks, buses, and motorcycles. Passenger cars led the category with 1,938 units, accounting for 57.1% of the total, while motorcycles represented 26.8% with 912 units. Other registrations included 444 light commercial vehicles, 58 trucks, and 40 buses.
This local growth mirrors a broader positive trend in Brazil, where September marked a historic high for registrations with an 8.32% increase compared to the previous year. Fenabrave President Arcelio Junior noted that despite challenging credit conditions, competition and initiatives like Move Brasil and Carro Sustentável are helping to reduce prices and improve financing conditions.
