Camping Benigembla named best campsite in Spain

Camping Benigembla, located in the Marina Alta region of Spain, has been named the best campsite in Spain and the second best in Europe for 2026 by the travel platform Campercontact. The recognition is based on ratings and reviews submitted by motorhome and campervan travelers rather than facility size or equipment alone.

Located in the Vall de Pop, the campsite offers a quieter, inland alternative to the coastal resorts of the Costa Blanca. The site is managed by Maria Ivars Avellà under a 20-year concession from the Benigembla Town Hall. The facility includes approximately 50 plots for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, operated by a team of six people.
