Camping gear: Decathlon roof tent discounts and Nomads Nest trailers

Various manufacturers are offering affordable micro-camping solutions for outdoor enthusiasts. Decathlon is currently discounting the Quechua × NaïtUp hard-shell roof tent (2-person) to €1,779.99, down from its regular price of €2,499.99. This model features the NuFix tool-free mounting system, which allows for installation on roof racks in approximately five minutes, and utilizes Fresh & Black technology to reflect sunlight and maintain cooler interior temperatures.

In the teardrop trailer market, Bulgarian manufacturer Nomads Nest is offering the Scout model starting at €12,950. The Scout features a wooden frame with a fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP) outer shell and includes a kitchen. While the wooden construction requires maintenance to prevent rot compared to seamless metal trailers, it provides a budget-friendly entry point for campers seeking a compact mobile living space.
