Campo de Marte to host new eVTOL vertiport network in São Paulo

UrbanVe and PAX Aeroportos have announced an agreement to develop vertiport infrastructure at Campo de Marte in São Paulo. This initiative aims to create a network of landing and takeoff points for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, designed to connect various regions of the city through urban air mobility.

The project operates within a regulatory sandbox established by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), allowing for the testing of new operational models and solutions in a controlled environment. Campo de Marte is expected to serve as a hub for a future mobility network connecting the metropolitan region of São Paulo to international airports, Alphaville, and the Baixada Santista region.
