La Misión Brasil Ultramarathon 2026 Draws Record 5,800 Runners to Passa Quatro

The 11th edition of the La Misión Brasil ultramarathon will take place from 12 to 16 August 2026 in Passa Quatro, Minas Gerais. Organisers expect 5,800 participants, the highest number since the race began in 2013. The event offers distances of 7, 15, 25, 35, 55, 80 and 110 km, plus kids and youth races, and has received the gold seal from the Confederação Brasileira de Atletismo (CBAt), the first such recognition for a trail‑mountain race in Brazil. “Receiving the CBAt Gold Seal is a great source of pride and reinforces our commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement,” said Paulo Lamin, the race’s organizer. New partners include Omint Saúde e Seguros, The North Face as official sports brand, Smurfit Westrock Brasil providing sustainable athlete kits, Powerade, Monster energy drinks, aminoVITAL gel supplement and a local beer for post‑race celebration. The race aims to combine high‑performance sport with environmental responsibility and community engagement.
