Campo Grande launches food program for farmers and hires municipal staff
The City of Campo Grande has launched a public call for family farmers to participate in the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) under the Simultaneous Purchase and Donation modality (PAA-CDS). This initiative is a partnership with the Federal Government through the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight Against Hunger (MDS).
The program aims to purchase food products from local family farmers to be donated to individuals facing nutritional food insecurity. Eligible participants must be individual family farmers residing in Campo Grande with an active National Registry of Family Agriculture (CAF) or a valid Declaration of Aptitude to Pronaf (DAP). The call covers 72 types of products, including fruits, vegetables, roots, and processed items such as honey, bread, and sweets.
Proposals and required documentation must be submitted between September 1 and September 11, 2026, at the Municipal Secretariat of Environment, Urban Management and Economic, Tourism and Sustainable Development (Semades).
Separately, the City of Campo Grande has also announced the temporary hiring of 30 candidates through simplified selection processes. These positions include Social Workers, Psychologists, Maintenance Assistants, and Social Agents for Sports and Leisure, distributed across various municipal departments such as the Municipal Sports Foundation (Funesp) and the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance and Citizenship (SAS).
