Campo Grande holds lottery for taxpayers current on IPTU
The municipality of Campo Grande is conducting a lottery for taxpayers who are current with their property tax (IPTU) payments. The current stage of the ‘IPTU Dá Prêmios’ program features six prizes: three 43-inch Smart TVs and three 9,000 BTU split air conditioning units.
Participation is now automatic and electronic for eligible taxpayers, replacing the previous system that required physical coupon submissions. Winners will be announced in the Diário Oficial de Campo Grande (Diogrande).
A final lottery is scheduled for November 25, which will award a car and a motorcycle. The initiative is designed to encourage regular tax compliance and reward citizens for meeting their municipal obligations.
