Campo Grande honors tourism professionals and photographer Roberto Higa

Campo Grande is hosting several ceremonies to honor individuals who have contributed to the city's cultural and economic development. During the 7th Tourism Showcase, the Edson Contar Trophy was awarded to professionals and initiatives that have strengthened the tourism sector through innovation, management, and research. The award aims to preserve the history of tourism in Mato Grosso do Sul and encourage new professionals to develop the city as a competitive destination in cultural, gastronomic, nature, and rural segments.

Additionally, the Campo Grande City Council will hold a solemn session to celebrate the city's 127th anniversary. Photographer Roberto Higa will receive a special tribute for his decades of work documenting the history, politics, and daily life of Campo Grande and Mato Grosso do Sul. The event will also include the presentation of titles such as Citizen of Campo Grande and the José Antônio Pereira Legislative Merit Medal to individuals recognized for their social or professional contributions to the municipality.
