Japanese cultural festivals held in Goiânia and Campo Grande
Several Brazilian cities are hosting cultural events celebrating Japanese traditions this weekend.
In Goiânia, the 28th Bunkasai (Japanese Cultural Showcase) will take place at the Associação Nipo-Brasileira de Goiás. The event features Taiko drumming, traditional dances, workshops, and Japanese gastronomy. Admission is granted through the donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food.
In Campo Grande, the 3rd Okinawa Festival is being held at the Associação Okinawa de Campo Grande. The festival offers free entry and focuses on preserving Okinawan traditions. The weekend in Campo Grande also includes various local fairs, such as the Feira Cultural Cidade Morena and the Feira Entre Elas, which highlights female entrepreneurship and the creative economy.
