Campo Grande hosts free dance and Ballroom culture workshops

Campo Grande is hosting several free dance workshops aimed at fostering local artistic development.

Renowned choreographer Mário Nascimento will lead a contemporary dance workshop from September 24 to 28 at Ginga Espaço de Dança. Part of the ‘Chão de Veredas’ project by Cia do Mato, the sessions will explore movement, body perception, and creation processes, drawing from classical, modern, and martial arts techniques. The workshop is open to dancers and professionals, with 20 spots available.

Additionally, the ‘Legado Quimera’ project, supported by the National Aldir Blanc Policy, is conducting workshops focused on Ballroom culture at the Centro Cultural José Octávio Guizzo. The program includes sessions on Realness, European Runway, and Vogue Femme, led by regional instructors to strengthen the local independent artist scene.
