Campo Grande launches housing fair with R$ 16,000 subsidies
The Municipal Agency for Housing and Land Affairs (EMHA) in Campo Grande is launching the 11th Feirão Habita CG from August 12 to 22. The event, held at Pátio Shopping, offers 1,000 quotas through the ‘Bônus Sonho de Morar’ program. This initiative provides municipal subsidies of up to R$ 16,000 for first-time homebuyers, with additional discounts of at least R$ 6,000 provided by participating real estate companies, potentially totaling over R$ 22,000 in savings.
To qualify, applicants must have a family income of up to five minimum wages, maintain an updated EMHA registration, and not currently own property. The subsidies are distributed in installments based on income levels: R$ 16,000 for lower-income families, R$ 8,000 for middle tiers, and R$ 4,000 for those at the upper limit of the eligibility bracket.
Simultaneously, EMHA has temporarily suspended registration updates for its housing programs until August 23 to implement a new technological platform. This modernization aims to improve data security, prevent fraud, and align the agency with ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’ requirements. Full services and registration updates are scheduled to resume on August 24.
