Campo Grande hosts job fair and first barber training cohort in Moreninhas

The Emprega CG job fair took place at the Moreninhas hub of the Funsat Foundation on 17 April, offering 500 vacancies across roles such as telemarketing, cashiers, store operators, butchers, cleaners, warehouse assistants and pharmacy staff. Salaries ranged from R$ 1,600 to R$ 2,500 and participants could interview directly with ten local employers, including Sam’s Club.

In parallel, the Escola Funsat completed its first free barber‑training course at the same Polo Moreninhas. Over six weeks, 13 of 15 enrolled students completed a 60‑hour curriculum, gaining certification to professionalise informal hair‑cutting work. Graduates such as Maciel Dino Medeiros and Rafael Cleber Silva Sampaio highlighted the program’s value for entering the formal labour market.
