Campo Grande launches $12 million paving and drainage project in Vilas Nogueira and Aimoré

On Thursday, 6 May, the municipal government of Campo Grande signed the service order to begin paving and drainage works in the neighborhoods of Vilas Nogueira and Aimoré. The project, part of the Vira CG Infraestrutura program, is funded with more than R$ 12 million (about $2.3 million) and will be carried out by TST Construções Ltda over a 270‑day period.

The works include asphalt paving, micro‑drainage of rainwater, resurfacing of selected sections and new road signage on streets Aiurvocas, Araçatuba, Doze de Outubro, Fênix, Sérgio Alexandre Lemos and Vigário da Silva. Mayor Adriane Lopes said the works will end chronic dust in the dry season and mud in the rainy season, raise property values and improve mobility for residents, schools and public services.
