Campo Grande opens free pre‑vestibular courses and yoga classes

The Prefeitura de Campo Grande announced that registrations are open for the free pre‑vestibular program Aprova Juv, offering 300 slots to students aged 15‑19 from public schools and scholarship‑holding private‑school students. Applications begin on 10 March, with a second round on 14 March. Classes run on Saturdays from 25 July to 5 December, organized into three groups – one in the morning at the Sejuv headquarters and two in the afternoon at Sejuv and the UFMS campus – to avoid interfering with school or work schedules.

Separately, the municipal sports foundation (Funesp) provides free yoga sessions in Parque do Sóter and Parque Jacques da Luz for residents over 18. Instructor Anderson Volpato stresses that the practice benefits both body and mind, helping participants “calm the mind, relieve stress and look more inward.” Participants such as Elaine Oliveira note, “I thought yoga wasn’t for me, but after one class I fell in love and saw a big improvement.” Sessions run on multiple weekdays in the early morning and are adapted to individual needs.
