Campo Grande offers free public transport for election runoff
Public urban transport in Campo Grande will be free on October 25 to facilitate voter movement during the second round of elections. This measure complies with Superior Electoral Court (TSE) Resolution No. 23,751, which mandates free public passenger transport on election days.
Local regulations via Decree No. 16,753 ensure that all urban collective transport lines will operate according to a weekday functional plan. The Consórcio Guaicurus will monitor the operation and may increase the number of vehicles to meet demand.
Authorities expect peak passenger flow between 4:40 AM and 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM, and 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. During these periods, operational reinforcements will be provided to the fleet. The Municipal Agency for Transport and Traffic (Agetran) advises citizens to plan their trips in advance.
