Campo Grande opens registrations for the Corrida do Facho relay race

Registrations for the traditional Corrida do Facho opened on Monday, 27 July. The relay race, part of the celebrations for the 127th anniversary of Campo Grande, will be held on the morning of 26 August, ahead of the civic‑military parade.

The event is organized by the Federação Universitária do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul (Funesp) under its director‑president Maicon Mommad. Teams must submit an intention‑of‑vacancy form between 27 July and 31 July, after which the committee will review applications from 3 to 7 August and send invitations with registration sheets. Completed sheets are due by 12 August, with the final list of accepted and wait‑listed teams published on 17 August. Substitutions are allowed up to 19 August, and a technical congress on 21 August will provide final instructions.
