Campo Grande police locate man suspected of sexual misconduct near school

The Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM) located a man suspected of performing sexual acts near a school in Campo Grande on Wednesday morning. The incident was reported around 7:31 a.m. on Rua Anhanduí in the city's central region.

A school employee alerted the GCM after bystanders initially contained the suspect near the educational unit. Although the man had left the immediate area by the time officers arrived, authorities located him inside a vehicle following witness descriptions. He was taken to a police station for investigation.

Witnesses reported that video and photographic evidence may exist showing the individual engaging in similar behavior near the school on previous occasions. The Special Secretary of Security and Social Defense, Anderson Gonzaga, stated that the rapid response was necessary due to the potential risk to the school community.
