Campo Grande receives free legal services via mobile units

The Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso do Sul (TJMS) is deploying two mobile units to provide free legal services across eight neighborhoods in Campo Grande this week. Operating from Monday (5) to Thursday (8), the 'Justiça Itinerante' program aims to increase judicial accessibility by offering guidance, mediation, and processing for low-complexity civil and family law cases.

The service handles matters such as child support, divorce, custody, paternity recognition, stable union dissolution, visitation rights, damages, and evictions. The program can adjudicate civil cases valued up to 40 minimum wages. When all involved parties are present with the required documentation, conciliation hearings may be scheduled for the same day.

Mobile units will operate from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM on a first-come, first-served basis with limited tokens. Priority is given to the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities. The scheduled locations include São Conrado, Santo Amaro, Coronel Antonino, Jardim Noroeste, Pioneiros, Jardim Canguru, Universitário, and Aero Rancho.
