Campo Grande road closures scheduled for weekend events

Motorists in Campo Grande should prepare for various traffic disruptions and road closures scheduled for this weekend due to sporting, religious, and cultural events.

On Saturday, the Corrida da Educação Física/CREF-MS will impact Avenida Afonso Pena starting at 15:00, with the track in front of Vila Morena being closed and traffic redirected to the opposite lane between Parque dos Poderes and the city center. On Sunday, the same race will affect the Parque dos Poderes area starting at 06:00, while the Circuito Sesc de Corrida nos Bairros will cause partial closures in the Grande Nova Lima region, specifically on Rua Zulmira Borba and within the Santa Inês Condominium.

Additionally, several closures are planned for Sunday across various neighborhoods. These include religious events on Rua 14 de Julho and Rua Antônio Olegário de Lima in the Segredo region, an antique car fair on Rua São João in the Bandeiras region, and a social event on Rua Monte Aprazível. Other Sunday closures include Rua Arisoli Ribeiro for a children's event and Rua Antônio Ignacio de Souza for the Festa de São Cosme e Damião. Local authorities recommend using alternative routes and following traffic agent instructions.
