Campo Grande students launch book on local history

Students from the Campo Grande Municipal Education Network (Reme) have released a printed book titled ‘Campo Grande: que cidade é essa?’. The project involved 7th and 8th-grade students from five different schools.

Developed in partnership with Editora Olhares and structured by the municipal education department (Semed), the book consists of ten chapters covering diverse topics such as history, geography, environment, culture, religion, and local professional activities. The publication combines argumentative texts, drawings, poetry, and acrostics.

The initiative aimed to foster literacy and civic engagement by encouraging students to research and organize historical data about their own city. The launch took place at the Escola Municipal Doutor Plínio Barbosa Martins.
