Campo Maior leaders discuss regionalization and sustainability

During the Festas do Povo in Campo Maior, Paula Santos, parliamentary leader of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), emphasized the importance of community involvement and cultural heritage. She used the occasion to advocate for regional development and the implementation of administrative regions in Portugal to address territorial asymmetries.

Luís Rosinha, President of the Campo Maior Municipality, highlighted the cultural significance of the festivities for local residents. Additionally, he announced the second edition of the 'Vidro com Valor – Separar é Valorizar' campaign, an environmental initiative aimed at promoting recycling and sustainability within the region.
