Campo Novo do Parecis to establish autism support center

The municipality of Campo Novo do Parecis has announced the transformation of the former Casa Lar structure into the Casa do Autista. This new facility will be dedicated to the reception, care, and strengthening of public policies for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

The project follows a study trip by local officials to Balneário Camboriú, SC, to observe reference models for autism support. The initiative aims to repurpose existing infrastructure to expand the municipal social protection network and provide specialized care and inclusion services.
