Campobasso hosts free public health screening event

A public health initiative titled ‘La prevenzione tra la gente’ provided over 370 free medical services and screenings in Campobasso on October 16 and 17. Organized by ASReM in collaboration with the Municipality of Campobasso and the provincial LILT, with support from the Molise Region, the event aimed to increase early diagnosis by bringing healthcare directly to the city center.

Key activities included 98 mammographies for women aged 50 to 69, and 83 cervical cancer screenings (Pap and HPV tests) for women aged 25 to 64. Additionally, 72 kits for colorectal cancer screening were distributed to men and women aged 50 to 69, and 118 Hepatitis C tests were administered to citizens born between 1969 and 1989.
