Campobasso hosts Kintsugi exhibition by APS Molis

The Kintsugi exhibition, organized by APS Molis, will take place at the Circolo Sannitico in Campobasso from September 1 to September 6, 2026. The event concludes the first illustration contest promoted by the association and draws inspiration from the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, using the concept of transforming fractures into precious elements as a metaphor.

The exhibition features works from contest participants alongside 'Molistantanee', a traveling photography project exploring the relationship between the people of Molise and their land. The narrative focuses on two symbolic characters, Concetta and Angela, representing different connections to their regional roots.

In addition to the visual displays, the event includes several daily activities at 18:30:

• September 2: An interview with Giulio Grosso and comic artist Serena Cirillo regarding the comic book industry and its ties to Molise. • September 3: A creative reuse workshop led by Legambiente Molise using materials like glass and ceramics. • September 4: A drawing workshop by the association NOIRexist, where participants will create and recompose works using gold-filled cracks. • September 5: A talk featuring the podcast 'If You Wanna Be My Lover' regarding territory and relationships.
