Campobasso hosts Regional Student Day to honor academic merit

The Regional Student Day was held at the Teatro Savoia in Campobasso to recognize academic merit and the value of education as a tool for social inclusion and community development. Established by regional law, the event was organized by the Presidency of the Regional Council.

During the ceremony, hosted by journalist Michaela Marcaccio, 209 students were awarded for achieving the highest marks in their secondary school diplomas for the 2025/2026 academic year. These students represent 23 different educational institutions across 40 municipalities within the region.

The event included institutional greetings from various regional officials and the Mayor of Campobasso. It concluded with a discussion regarding the relationship between young people and their local territory, featuring entrepreneur Lino Del Cioppo, who spoke about investing in his home region through technology and cybersecurity.
