Campobasso to host WEEEWaste seminar on electronic waste management

A seminar regarding the WEEEWaste project is scheduled for August 31 in Campobasso at the SEA S.p.A. headquarters. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Campobasso, is part of the Interreg Europe program aimed at improving national, regional, and local policies for managing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE/RAEE).

The seminar will focus on the CLEAR pilot action, which integrates operational collection tools with public awareness activities to improve recycling and recovery efficiency. The project's scope extends beyond Campobasso to include 17 municipalities within the Urban Area.

Additionally, the event will feature a presentation on a RAEE call for tenders funded by the RAEE Coordination Center, which is intended to strengthen collection infrastructure and services for local municipalities.
