Campobasso to launch new bus line serving historic center

The city of Campobasso is introducing a new urban public transport route, the ‘Centro Storico’ line, starting September 15. This service will allow buses to enter the historic center for the first time in decades, traveling as far as Castello Monforte.

According to Transport Councilor Mimmo Maio, the initiative aims to improve accessibility for residents, tourists, and individuals with mobility difficulties. The route is designed to enhance the use of the city’s historical and cultural heritage. The trip from Villa Flora to Piazzale del Castello is expected to take approximately 25 minutes.
