Campobasso used clothing collection reaches five tons
SEA S.p.A. has provided an update on the used clothing collection service in Campobasso, reporting that approximately five tons of clothing have been collected to date. The service, managed in coordination with Pezzamificio sas, involves collections at least twice a week, with additional pickups scheduled as needed based on the condition of the collection points.
Following recent inspections, the company noted issues regarding the cleanliness and decorum of certain sites. While bags and clothing were found left on the ground, investigations revealed that many containers were not actually full and still had available space. To address this, additional collection rounds and general cleaning of the affected areas have been implemented.
Local Environment Councilor Simone Cretella emphasized that while the administration and SEA are responsible for ensuring a regular and controlled service, citizens must use the more than fifty available containers correctly. He urged residents to place clothing in closed bags and inside the bins rather than leaving them on the ground to prevent litter accumulation and maintain urban decorum.
