CAMRA publishes 2027 Good Beer Guide featuring UK pubs

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has released its Good Beer Guide 2027, featuring 4,500 pubs across the United Kingdom selected for their quality cask beer.

In Barrow, The White Lion was included in the guide less than a year after reopening under the leadership of Adam and Sam Taylor in October 2025. The owners expressed pride in the recognition, noting the pub's focus on being a community venue with high-quality cask beer.

In North Hertfordshire, eight pubs received recognition in the guide. Notable inclusions in Hitchin include The Half Moon, praised for its variety of house and guest ales; BB's Bar, a sports and music venue; and The Victoria, a community pub operating since 1865.
